KS2 Temp Teacher 

We have the opportunity to appoint a full time class teacher to work in KS2.  This is a temporary position for one year to start from September 2020.

You will:

  • Deliver high quality teaching across the curriculum;
  • Develop high quality professional relationships with children and adults;
  • Create a learning environment that is engaging and challenging;
  • Ensure good rates of progress and challenge for the children you teach;
  • Secure a high quality, broad and balanced curriculum following all school’s agreed policies and schemes;
  • Value and uphold the safeguarding measures in place in school and act as a positive role model to others;
  • Engage with professional development opportunities to further improve your own teaching.

We will provide:

Permanent Teaching Assistant

Teaching Assistant 32.5 hours per week term time only; including 0.5 hours per day lunchtime supervision.  The working day will be 8.30am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday with a 0.5 hour break every day.

East Ardsley Primary Academy is looking to employ an experienced, talented and committed Teaching Assistant to further their career with us. You will need to have a positive outlook and attitude, a child-focussed approach to meeting children’s needs, and a commitment to working as part of a team. Crucially, you will have a passion for children’s learning, development and personal care.  You must understand the need to follow our comprehensive safeguarding policies and procedures and contribute to keeping the children safe and happy in school.

You must be a highly motivated individual with very good maths and English skills (GCSE Grade C or above, or the equivalent), and a relevant childcare qualification at level 2 or above. We work with all our Teaching Assistants to ensure they are highly skilled and able to work with children of all ages, levels and abilities; including those with significant special educational needs.  In return we offer lots of high quality training and support to ensure our staff are well equipped for the role expected of them.
