How will the school help children and young people transfer to the next phase of education?
East Ardsley Primary School has a strong relationship with our Feeder High Schools. Our Learning Mentor is our Transition Leader. In the summer term, our Learning Mentor and the SENDCo meet with the Year 7 leaders and SENDCos of feeder schools to share information and documentation.
Our Learning Mentor also plans and accompanies children on extra visits for children with SEND or for those children who are more vulnerable socially and emotionally.
We are confident in working with specials providers as we regularly have children who transfer out of mainstream education.
